Laser light is dynamically shaped to match changing object.
Light is not wasted filling the whole raster area if there is no image in the outer areas.
This means there is no off state leakage form the dark areas because there is no light falling on these areas.
Laser light stays in a tight bundle so it can be projected long distances.
About 3,000 -1 contrast in object, infinite contrast object to background.

The laser beam leaving the projector is less than an inch in diameter.
In some of our experiments we have run it down 10 feet of water pipe with a 90° bend mirror half way.
Then it was expanded into an image after leaving the pipe.
This projector is in its prototype stage.
